About Us
The Little House, as suggested by its name, is small but designed in such a way that makes it cosy and snug in the winter but light and spacious in the summer.
French doors which open up to bring the outdoors indoors and bring in a beautiful light and birdsong. A two person cocoon hangs from the giant oak tree which is topped with cushions and blankets - perfect for appreciating the tranquility of The Little House.
Amenities
A king size double bed in the mezzanine area with organic sheets. An ensuite loo and sink. Downstairs, there is a small shower room with towels provided. The space is efficiently heated with a wood burner and free wood supply; there are back up radiators if needed. There is a well equipped kitchen and small dining area with french doors that open on to an enclosed garden area with a small fire pit and double cocoon swing.
Things to do at The Little House
A supply of books, DVD's and board games for you to while away the hours. An endless stock of logs for the wood burner and a knitting basket with wool for you to get creative! The Little House is equipped with WiFi (although not the fastest) and a television. In such a busy world, sometimes it's all about finding the time to do nothing!
Stroll the lanes or hike further afield with many beautiful walks right from the door. Cycle the lanes or head into the Forest of Dean and cycle the paths and trails (it's hilly!) Go wild swimming in the Wye or hire a canoe and explore the river without getting your hair wet. Visit the local brewery and taste all of our local farmhouse products.

A perfect base for getting out and exploring the wonderful Wye Valley and Forest of Dean. An affordable way to reconnect with nature in total comfort. Our guests have loved being able to relax, watch the birds in the garden and listen to the night owl whilst swinging in the cocoon.
