    Back to the Cave - An Exhibition of Sculpture
    Clearwell Caves will be hosting a MAJOR exhibition of modern and contemporary sculpture, curated by @GalleryPangolin. The sculpture exhibition is included with normal entry to the Caves. This is an opportunity to enjoy world class sculpture as you’ve never seen it before: we are taking contemporary art BACK TO THE CAVE. Enjoy the historic caverns with fabulous sculptures throughout, a completely unique cultural experience.

    Fire and Wood Festival at the Dean Heritage Centre
    A traditional charcoal burn will be taking place at the Dean Heritage Centre. We are one of the only places in the country where you can still see a traditional charcoal burn in progress which takes place across the three days. Discover how this ancient tradition was an integral part of the iron industry in the Forest of Dean and now produces what is considered to be the best barbeque charcoal around!
