Perrygrove Railway Adventure

Perrygrove Railway Adventure is so much more than train rides! There's lots to explore on your Forest of Dean family day out whatever the weather, and it's dog friendly too.

Our narrow gauge trains run approximately every 40 minutes and can vary between steam or diesel engines pulling our cosy heritage carriages.

There's lots to discover at Perrygrove and play areas include: the popular Treetop Adventure Trail complete with wobbly bridge, slides, ladder and hideaways;  our indoor Twilight Village made up of five interconnected houses with secret passages, stairs - perfect for hide and seeking; a covered play area at Foxy Hollow plus the colourful Tunnel Maze complete with bubble windows and slide. There's also coin operated ride on tractors, a model railway and lots of den building and tree climbing opportunities too (at your own risk!).

During holidays look out for our Carriage Shed too where there might be extra activities for the kids to enjoy (not available during Christmas holidays)

Our tasty Platform café is great value and sells fabulous coffee, tempting cakes, local ice cream, sandwiches and pastries with vegan and gluten free options.

Family owned Perrygrove is open every weekend all year and daily in Gloucestershire school holidays. From February half term until the end of October Perrygrove Railway Adventure is open every Tuesday and Thursday as well. Doors open at 10am and first train is at 10.30am.
