Food & Drink

No visit to the Forest of Dean and Wye Valley is complete without sampling some of the local food and drink. We have Michelin starred restaurants and cosy country pubs, sumptuous afternoon teas and plentiful farm shops. We have cafes in rural settings, enchanting tea rooms, beautiful beer gardens and even pre-packed picnics to enjoy at your leisure.

The Forest of Dean and Wye Valley is also a primary producer of top quality food and drink. Everything from cider, wine, artisan beer and cheeses, bacon and smoked salmon, to organic juices and vegetables and free range eggs. Visit one of our well stocked delis or farm shops to pick up provisions or visit a local producer themselves, many of whom have their own shops and offer food and drink experiences, from gin tasting to chocolate making.

Why not treat yourself at one of our exquisite restaurants, sample the delights at one of our tea rooms or enjoy a delicious meal at one of our fantastic pubs. There is plenty to offer for everyone and we're sure you'll find something to tantalise your taste buds.
