About Us
Perrygrove is certainly a distinctive wedding venue.
With two very different, (but equally unique), reception locations at Perrygrove, we can cater for parties large and small. For smaller, more intimate receptions we use our carriage shed which is based at the main station, Perrygrove. In here we can comfortably accommodate up to 40 for a formal sit down meal. The carriage shed is licensed for weddings and civil ceremonies for up to 60 people and has a truly rustic feel to it. For larger wedding groups Rookwood is the perfect location. Situated a short distance along the line from Perrygrove, Rookwood is completely private to you and your guests for the entire day and evening. It’s the perfect location for a marquee wedding, with ample space for up to 250 guests.
Every wedding booked gets their own private steam train for the duration of the wedding. The trains are fully enclosed and seat up to 100 people per train whatever the weather. What better way to transport your guests along with you on your wedding journey. There are various optional extras couples can book; a personalised headboard for the train that couples get to keep, traditional candy cart, hay bales, paraffin lanterns, fire pit, tractor and trailer rides, picnic benches, bunting, fairy lights and a trailer stage! The possibilities really are endless at Perrygrove.
We are a dog and child friendly wedding venue. You can either hire Perrygrove as a DIY venue, or a package wedding can be arranged. Most couples go with something in-between the two. We are proud to be a very relaxed and accommodating venue – in the past we’ve allowed a full size carousel and brand new John Deere tractor!
