About Us
Self -contained and private wing of Broughtons - a Grade 2 listed house. Set high above the River Severn, surrounded by its own gardens and fields we have wonderful views across the Severn Vale and towards the Forest of Dean.
The cottage has 2 pretty bedrooms, 1 double with king size bed, 1 twin- beds can be zipped and linked to make superking bed, all crisp freshly laundered bed linen and towels included. A modern well equipped kitchen and a comfortable sitting room with logburner ensure your stay will be comfortable and cosy.
Guests are welcome to enjoy the large gardens with herbaceous flower borders, orchard and productive vegetable garden. Broughtons Cottage is ideally placed to explore and enjoy all that the Forest of Dean and Wye Valley has to offer.
The Cathedral towns of Gloucester and Hereford are within easy distance. Secure storage is available for your bikes and canoes and the hard tennis court is available for guest to use. Children over 12 are very welcome. Short breaks available.
Your welcome hamper includes local or homegrown produce, eggs from our free range hens, homemade cake, fresh flowers and a friendly relaxed welcome, perfect!
