Beechenhurst, managed by Forestry England, lies in the heart of the Forest of Dean, and is a great place to start your forest adventure. Trail, play area, picnic spots, Go Ape and cafe.

Foresters Restaurant is the perfect place to eat whether you're looking for a light lunch or evening meal. There's something for everyone and at such great value.

Enjoy a round of woodland themed adventure golf at Whitemead Forest Park, nestled in the heart of the Forest of Dean. Coleford
Bells Hotel is one of the most popular resorts for golf breaks in Gloucestershire and the Forest of Dean. Founded in 1973 the course is known for its unique rolling parkland, beautiful lakes, streams and spectacular woodland. The 18 hole, par 69 golf course poses challenges for golfers of all skill levels and is a joy to play.

Near Coleford
The only bike hire location with direct access to the Forest of Deans's traffic-free family & mountain bike trails! The bike hire fleet includes e-bikes, a choice of premium Whyte bike models for mountain bikes or leisure trails, kids' bikes, child seats, trailers and tagalongs. Trailers for dogs are also available. We also have a cafe, bike shop, workshop, toilets, showers, bike wash & parking.
