About Us

Enjoy a relaxing journey along the Dean Forest Railway on board the steam train, with a fish and chip supper (or other choice of food) delivered to your table.

Whilst we won’t be able to provide our usual on-board bar service, we will now be offering drinks pre-orders (sent separately after booking), which will be set up ready at your table before boarding.

  • Duration: 1,5 hours

  • Food Options: Fish & Chips, Chicken & Chips, Jumbo Sausage & Chips and Veggie Burger & Chips

  • Drinks: Drinks order sent separately to prepare your drinks beforehand and place them at your table before you board.

  • Location: Departs from (and returns to) Norchard Station (GL15 4ET)

  • Booking: Advanced ordering is required

  • Accesibility: Our stations and heritage diesel railcar are fully wheelchair accessible. Contact us before booking if you will require the wheelchair area on board.

  • Dogs: Dogs are not allowed on this train.

  • Booking Size: 2-8 passengers. Note: all passengers in one booking will be seated together. IMPORTANT: Please see information below about restrictions on group sizes.

  • COVID-19 Secure: Each booking will be seated together, at a secure distance from others on board.
