About Us

The National Diving & Activity Centre is based just outside Chepstow near the beautiful Forest of Dean.  We're a 5-minute drive of the M48 Severn Bridge, which is now free to cross!

We offer a wide range of activities and events throughout the year, as well as glamping accommodation in our Wooden Wigwams, Food & Drink in the View Cafe Bar and spectacular views over our lake.

This hidden gem is well worth a visit, why not pop in for a coffee and see what it's all about.

Scuba Diving

Our flooded quarry lake offers some of the best inland scuba diving conditions in Europe with a range of depths to suit all abilities. The waters have many underwater attractions including planes, armoured vehicles, sunken boats & helicopters.

For the divers we have highly trained staff on site and all the facilities you would expect. There are classrooms for instructor and club use, a well stocked dive shop, a state of the art gas room, equipment hire, equipment servicing, changing rooms & toilets.

For those wanting to learn how to scuba dive or develop their skills; training on site is provided by our training partner, ScubaQuest Ltd

Atlantis Aqua Park

The Atlantis Aqua Park is breathtaking in terms of size, fun and location. The aqua park has over five floating zones to choose from. Within each zone it has an increasing intensity, so you can challenge not only yourself but also your stag/hen party to an experience like no other.

What better way to spend the day than with your friends and family bouncing, hopping, jumping and diving all over our incredible floating Atlantis Aqua Park.

Just a reminder you will get wet... very wet!

The Wire Zip Slide

The Wire is one of the UK's longest, tallest and fastest zip slides, running the 700 metre length of the NDAC Quarry in Chepstow.

Launch yourself from the 70m high cliff edge and speed along the length of our 80m deep flooded quarry.

Reaching speeds up to 40 miles per hour this exhilarating ride will take your breath away!

Giant 3G Swing

Experience weightlessness 245 feet in the air on our ultimate adrenaline-pumping blast!

If you dare, you'll be strapped into the Giant 3G Swing, hoisted 50ft up into the air and slowly pulled back to the release point...

Then it is down to one of you to pull the ripcord!

After the initial terrifying drop, you'll launch into the air, feeling the G-force as you swing up into the sky, 245ft over the steep quarry edges of the UK’s Deepest Inland Dive Site.

And There's More...

Other activities available at the National Diving & Activity site include our Drive-In Cinema, Fly Boards, Stand-Up Paddleboarding (SUP), Freediving, Kayaking, Bungee Jumping, Segway Experiences,

Wooden Wigwams

We have onsite accommodation available in the form of wooden wigwams. Sleeping up to five adults, Wigwams are the ultimate eco cabin; double-glazed, secure, cosy and warm whatever the time of year. A low cost alternative to hotels and B&Bs, our Wigwams truly offer all year round camping, and the best bit, no pitching a tent in the rain!

There are three grades of Wigwam to suit all budgets from our standard cabins up to our VIP Wigwams with hot tubs.

View Cafe Bar

Our View Café Bar serves an extensive range of hot & cold meals as well as a wide selection of beers, wines and soft drinks from the licensed bar.

All are welcome to sit inside, or out on the decked veranda to enjoy the stunning views across the water. During the warmer months we hold regular BBQs and often host live music acts.

Water View Marquee

Our Water View Marquee is available to hire for your perfect celebration or wedding day. The marquee seats 120 people with a fully licensed bar and late licence available on request. Combined with our activities we provide breathtaking views and unique facilities for your event (As featured on TV's Don't Tell The Bride).

Fearfest-Evil

The National Diving & Activity Centre is home to FearFest-Evil, an award winning Halloween Horror event.

FearFest-Evil is an immersive horror experience, taking you on a terrifying journey through anxiety-inducing, adrenaline-filled indoor and outdoor environments.

Set around an abandoned railway line and forgotten woodland, FearFest-Evil is the ultimate Halloween Scare Experience, for only the bravest of horror fans. This terrifying horror experience runs across selected nights in October.
