Dean Forest Retreats offers boutique dog-friendly accommodation with private hot tubs in the heart of the Forest of Dean nestled in an enchanting wooded valley.

Woodpecker Cottage and Dipper's Hut are two beautiful waterside retreats, each with its own private hot tub, set in 3/4 acre of grounds with a spectacular woodland backdrop, yet only a 15 minute walk from Blakeney village with its pubs and local shop.

Both properties overlook the meandering stream running through the property and are an ideal relaxing base from which to explore the wonderful Forest of Dean.

The Accommodation

Woodpecker Cottage (sleeps 2) is a charming 1 bedroom detached stone cottage with its own patio area, private hot tub and outdoor dining set. It boasts a spacious lounge/dining area (with woodburner), fully equipped kitchen, bedroom (king size bed) and en suite shower room.

Dipper's hut (sleeps 2) is a beautiful bespoke shepherd hut with open plan bedroom, kitchenette and bathroom. Open all year round (including hot tub) it benefits from a wood burning stove and electric heating. The private patio includes dining area, Adirondack chairs and private hot tub.
