Harts Barn Cookery School

Harts Barn Cookery School (HBCS) is all about cooking for all, all ages and skill levels are catered for, and we teach everything from banquets to basics!

We provide a huge range of regular classes, Fire cooking, workshops, supper clubs and events plus we welcome group bookings, parties, corporate and private hire.

All classes offer a hands-on element and focus on gaining practical skills and knowledge as well as being enjoyable! Classes cover all the basics, such as bread, baking, fish, meat, skills etc as well as international dishes, vegetarian and vegan cooking.  We have classes especially for children and men, as well as seasonal specials: Christmas and Easter and experiences such as foraging, afternoon tea and chocolate dreams.  We guarantee that you will find something to please you and all the family.

GROUPS

We accommodate many groups wanting a bespoke experience at the cookery school and can cater to your requirements throughout. Whether you are a group of friends, a family or a couple, whether you are here on holiday, for work, as part of a tour or are local, our cookery school provides an excellent location for a variety of activities.

PARTIES

We put on many parties, including those for hens & stags, birthdays, anniversaries, christenings and everything else. We love parties at our cookery school and they are always fun events for all involved! But we will come to you. If you have hired a beautiful holiday accommodation then we will come to you to either run a class or cook a celebratory meal.

EVENTS

If you require a corporate event, work outings, social groups and more, you can choose from one of our packages or we can create a completely bespoke event for you. If it involves food, we can do it!

ACCESSIBILILTY

HBCS is fully accessible with disabled parking, entry ramp, widened doors for wheelchair access, disabled toilet, accessible working area for cooking. Staff are trained in disability and are DBS checked.

FRIENDLY

We are dog friendly and will let young babies into classes if supervised.
