On Friday, 12May, Her Royal Highness The Princess Royal visited Coleford for the naming of St. Hilaire Avenue and Sion Place, during a celebration of the towns twinning with Saint Hilaire de Riez. To celebrate the visit we decided to take look at the excellent twinning links between our towns and their overseas counterparts.
Looking for something to fill the last bank holiday in May how about the fabulous Devauden Festival. This year's Devauden Festival is set to be the best yet. This year the festival runs from Friday night and throughout Saturday and Sunday with four stages feature a wide range of some of the best local talent from across South Wales and surrounding areas.
The Royal Forest Show is back for 2023, taking place at The Speech House Hotel on Saturday 17th June 2023, and featuring the finest food and drink the Forest has to offer, activities for the whole family, live music, shopping, hands-on demonstrations, amusements and a variety of displays in the main arena.
