About Us

Sleep under the stars at the Forest of Dean

Explore woodland trails and open meadow under a canopy of oak trees in a natural sanctuary situated within one of Britain's most famous forests.

With cosy cabins split between the ancient woodland and open meadow, Forest Holidays Forest of Dean is perfectly balanced for those seeking the seclusion of the woods or the space to unwind. Seek solitude sheltered beneath the forest’s protective canopy or enjoy the freedom out on the bright open meadow, the cabins are in complete harmony with their woodland surroundings. From cosy one bedroom cabins to spacious five bedroom Treehouse cabins, you can match your party’s requirements exactly.

Comprising 120 cabins, surrounded by a maze of forest walks, trails and meadow, Forest Holidays Forest of Dean has something for everybody. At the heart of it all is The Forest Retreat, the hub of the Forest of Dean location. Here you’ll meet our friendly team, who will share their secrets on the best places to go so your holiday is tailored to you. You’ll also find a well-stocked shop, where the emphasis is on locally sourced goods, from meats and vegetables, to arts and crafts. Snacks and drinks are served all day to be eaten in or to take away. You can also meet the Forest Ranger, book activities and hire bikes. There is also an exciting children’s play area!

Each and every cabin has its very own private hot tub. Take a refreshing dip in the morning as nature wakes up around you. Or sink back into the bubbles for an evening soak underneath the starlit sky. Spend time with a dedicated Forest Ranger on location. You can plan a programme of unique experiences to discover the wonders and secrets of the forest.

Whether you’re in search of proper pints or epic views, we’ve got it covered.
