Whitecliff Off-Road Centre (Whitecliff4x4) has its own private picturesque site just a mile from Coleford town centre.  Whether you are looking for great 4x4 off road day out, a learning experience or Professional 4x4 training, we have the course to suit your needs. Our qualified instructors will guide you through the day with a relaxed, but professional attitude giving you confidence to tackle terrain you never thought possible.

Our Gift Experience courses can be booked as either a half-day or full-day.  'Drive Yourself Wild' in our safe but challenging environment as you tackle obstacles never thought possible.  We sell vouchers valid for 12 months and prices include lunch, tea/coffee.  Courses can also be booked as a 1:1; a vehicle & instructor to yourself for the duration...more driving, more fun, more challenges (based on ability).

For those wanting to understand their own 4x4 vehicles capability, we run owner driver courses in your 4x4 enabling you to understand it capabilities & limitations.  How does the 4wd system work? How does your 4x4 performs off road?  We can show you & answer any queries / concerns you may have.  If you need confidence & preparation for the bad weather or perhaps you've decided to join a club and compete off-road; our Owner Driver courses are a good starting point and will arm you with the skills to safely negotiate the terrain with more confidence. NB: We Do Not Sell ‘Pay & Play’ events.

For junior 4x4 enthusiast of 14 yrs & over who want to get into the driving seat, we have 1:1 junior off road experiences.  This 2hrs session has plenty of hands-on off road driving practice using a manual geared 4x4 vehicle which is in low range.  Tackling similar terrain to our half day introductory course, this junior experience is ability based & therefore those with prior vehicle control/gear changing practice will progress further.  Restrictions apply - see our website.
