Get DirectionsAbout Tidenham Chase
Tidenham Chase contains the largest remaining fragment of lowland heathland in Gloucestershire. A heathland restoration project, Tidenham Chase offers great walks and stunning views.
The main car park on the B4228 has spaces for around 20 cars. From the car park follow signposts to the Offa's Dyke footpath, the historic border between England and Wales, named after the Anglo-Saxon king who supposedly ordered it to be built. Also explore the Devil's Pulpit, a scenic viewpoint with views of Tintern Abbey and the River Wye.
The village of Tidenham is to the south.
