Exploring the stunning landscapes and amazing wildlife of the Forest of Dean and Wye Valley can come no better than a trip out with local naturalists Ed and Liz Drewitt.

Join Ed or Liz on a guided wildlife-watching walk or private safari, where they will introduce you to the forest and its ecology and its fascinating history, and help you to find and identify birds, mammals, plants and invertebrates, as well as looking out for their tracks and signs. Their walks are open to anyone, from seasoned naturalists to interested amateurs, or simply those wanting to experience the beauty and tranquility of the forest environment.

Driven by a lifelong passion for nature, Ed has built a career sharing the wonders of the natural world. As a naturalist, author and tour leader, he guides people through diverse habitats, both in the UK and internationally, revealing the secrets of birds, mammals and everything in between.

Liz is a freelance naturalist, writer, editor and artist with over 20 years of experience studying, writing about and watching wildlife. She is passionate about the forest and its wildlife, with a particular interest in its wild boar and a fascination for the forest’s rich history. Alongside her editing and guiding work she also runs an online craft shop, ‘Humbug Designs’, selling nature-related art and handmade crafts.
