Originally the house was home to the village quarry-master, but now Deanfield has been providing holiday and business accommodation since 1990. Located close to the heart of the Forest, Deanfield makes an ideal base for sightseeing, mountain biking, or exploring some of the many peaceful forest walks nearby. The cycle centre is just a few miles away, while RSPB Nagshead and the Dean Forest Steam Railway are both situated in the village itself. Perfect for Cycling and Walking holidays with cycle hire in the village

Just three properties away is The Woodman Inn and a short walk along the cricket green is The Fountain Inn, both have restaurants and we recommend both highly for food and drink.
