Get up close to fascinating mosses, lichens and woodland flowers on the forest floor, spot butterflies and lizards, dodge dung beetles on the forest tracks and experience the best each season has to offer!

Whether it’s spotting woodland and water birds in winter, tuning in to the cacophony of bird song in spring, finding butterflies and wildflowers in summer or enjoying the blazing spectacle of autumn, there is always so much to see and experience in the forest. Your host, Liz, will help you identify the wildlife you see, while also sharing fascinating facts about the forest’s rich history and important ecology.
