Our professional training comply with the HSE’s PUWER regulations which require employees to receive ‘adequate training’ on work-placed equipment.

Why Do I Need The Training?

Employers  must comply with HSE PUWER regulations, which state that employees must receive training on the safe use of any work-equipment they supply to their staff.  4WD vehicles, when used off-road within the work-place fall under these regulations.

What We Covered.

We cover all types of 4WD systems & their mechanical complexities, vehicle checks, route planning, health & safety compliance & risk assessment.  While under instruction, individuals will practice safe off-road skills over a variety of terrain & scenarios. Our training builds confidence & improves knowledge, allowing drivers to demonstrate their understanding in a relaxed atmosphere. During the training, clients will be able to recognise the risks & how to reduce them. Theoretical & practical sessions are included.

Qualified Instructors.

We have qualified BORDA instructors to deliver your training.  Courses are ideally completed using your work 4wd vehicle to understand the capabilities & limitations of your company vehicle.  However, there is the option to hire one of our 4x4's.  NB: Certificates will state the vehicle you have been trained on.
