Halloween Trail

Get ready for a spooky adventure in the Forest of Dean this October!

This half term, Mallards Pike Café has teamed up with local artist Rhiannon Jones (@rhiannonbanillustrations) to create a brand-new Halloween trail for 2026.

Take a walk around the beautiful Mallards Pike, keeping your eyes peeled for 25 original Halloween designs hidden along the route. It’s the perfect way to get the kids out into the woods, enjoy some fresh autumn air and add a little spooky fun to your family walk.

Once you’ve completed the trail, head back to Mallards Pike Café where each child taking part can enjoy a kids’ hot chocolate and Halloween cupcake, included in the trail price.

And while the little ones refuel, grown-ups can grab a coffee, tea, cake, lunch or whatever else takes your fancy from the café, then sit back and enjoy the views across Mallards Pike.

Suitable for families and children of all ages. The site is pushchair and wheelchair friendly, and dogs are welcome. 

Our café is open 9.30am - 4.30pm throughout the school holidays. We recommend leaving enough time to do the trail and enjoy your hot chocolate and cake after.
