The Lamproom Cafe at Clearwell Caves

The Lamproom Cafe sits above ground and is the only marker for the adventures taking place below. With delicious homemade sandwiches, cakes, leaf teas and all your favourite barista coffees, our cafe is another delightful discovery hidden amongst the trees of the Forest. There is a little play area for kids and many gorgeous walks over the common and ancient forest woodland.

Open to all - you can visit the cafe without needing a ticket to the Caves. We also have a wonderful gift shop selling many treasures, including minerals, handmade ceramics and jewellery from talented makers. Dogs are welcome everywhere above ground.

From Coleford, take the B4228 towards Lydney. Continue for approximately one mile and take the turn to Clearwell on the right-hand side. Follow the brown and white tourism signs. Clearwell Caves' free car and coach park is on the left-hand side.
