The Lamproom Cafe at Clearwell Caves

The Lamproom Cafe sits above ground and is the only marker for the adventure taking place below. With delicious homemade soups, sandwiches, cakes, leaf teas and all your favourite organic barista coffees, our cafe is yet another delightful discovery hidden amongst the trees of the Forest. There is a little play area for kids and many gorgeous walks in ancient forest woodland.

Open to all - you do not need a ticket to the caves to visit the cafe. We also have a wonderful gift shop with toys, treasures, and handmade ceramics and jewellery from renowned local makers. Dogs are more than welcome everywhere above ground.

From Coleford, take the B4228 towards Lydney. Continue for approximately one mile and take the turn to Clearwell on the right-hand side. Follow the brown and white tourism signs. Clearwell Caves' free car park is on the left-hand side.
