About Forest & Wye Valley Camping

Situated between the rugged beauty of the Forest of Dean and the picturesque Wye Valley, this lovely caravan and camping site built in 2014 offers fantastic purpose built facilities. Heated shower block, level hard standing pitches and all the services you expect are ready for you to plug in to.

Situated at Bearse Farm on the edge of the village of St Briavels we are ideally situated for country walks in the adjoining historic woodlands of the Forest of Dean and the beautiful Wye Valley with it's fantastic scenery, border towns, castles and ruins. Country towns, Golf Courses and villages are all within easy reach of the site making it a great place to stay all year round.

The site

The site has excellent facilities and is very close to the many different amenities you may need to make your stay perfect. All the pitches have electric hook ups as well as TV points. A heated toilet and shower block is within easy access of all 43 pitches. We also have an on-site shop stocking local produce

The countryside

Historic woodland and Slade Brook adjoins the farm from where you can walk through unspoilt countryside right from the camp site.  250 metre woodland walk to Slade Brook  which is a Site of Scientific Interest. SSSI - with it's unusual 'Tufa' Formations. Formed from Calcium Carbonate Deposits -The system of Tufa Dams and Plunge Pools form the longest series of such structures in Britain.

Getting to us

Road: The nearest town is Coleford 3 miles away which has 3 supermarkets, butchers, bakers. 15 mins away is the Old historic market town of Monmouth on the River Wye with a Waitrose, many Boutiques, Cafes and Gift Shops. Only two miles from Clearwell and Clearwell Castle with several pubs and restaurants serving excellent food. Waking distance to local pub.

Public transport: On bus route between Chepstow and Coleford.
