Bride on a Slide
Our brand new wedding reception venue has launched, catering to couples that are looking for an affordable, fun and child-friendly venue where the whole family is welcome, set among rolling lawns and lakes, it is a small leap from first birthday cakes to first dances.
Embarking on a total transformation of the space, the team at Dick Whittington construct a twinkling walk-through tunnel from the entrance, taking guests into the play barn, resplendent in white linens with decorated top and cake tables. Photo opportunities for the newlyweds are ample around the forested lakes, gently sloping fields and a flower-filled cottage garden. For the smaller guests, the playbarn is fully available to keep the little ones entertained as the adults socialise, celebrate and dance the night away. Positioned to be affordable for young families, the inclusive package for up to 150 guests is priced at just £2,000.
“We want to make special memories affordable and accessible, instead of many couples wishing they could get married but feeling like they were either priced out or unwelcome with children. Weddings can be notoriously expensive for the grown ups and intimidating, or even worse - boring, for the little ones. With us, everyone can be part of the big day, from granny to the groom and the best mate to the baby. We can’t wait to welcome couples to our beautiful Park and help them and their families make some special memories.”
The team are now open for bookings. More information can be found at https://www.dickwhittingtonpark.co.uk/wedding-venue.
