About Broom Hill Retreat

The Broom Hill Retreat collection currently consists of our New Railway Carriage “Daisy”, The Old Railway Carriage “Doris” and our beautiful Annex.  Charming holiday homes set in the heart of The Royal Forest of Dean.

Our Luxury glamping carriages offer you the finest in outdoor living, whilst adding some of the comforts of home. Let yourself relax with nature with a few added luxuries to make the perfect holiday.

House rules: These are non smoking properties, 1 well behaved small dog is welcome (please contact us if you have more than 2 dogs), smaller groups welcome (suitable for couples and young families)

Amenities available:

Daisy (King Size bed & bunk/enclosed garden) & Doris (Double bed/open field):

Both include a wood fired hot tub, bed linen, towels, dressing gowns, wellington boots, kitchen utensils, plates, cutlery, kettle, hairdryer, log burner, fire extinguishers, fire/carbon monoxide alarms, first aid kit, firewood, under covered outdoor dining area, hammock, heated shower room, solar powered composting toilet, indoor and outdoor games, fridge, Gas BBQ, travel cot available, washing up facilities

The Annex (Double bed and Sofa bed):

Double shower, BBQ utensils, crockery, hairdryer, underfloor heating, fire extinguishers, fire/carbon monoxide alarms, first aid kit, kettle, covered outdoor dining/seating area, toaster, microwave, washing machine, fridge, mini oven, travel cot, cutlery, bowls, towels, wide screen TV, Sonos sound system, enclosed garden

There are 2 local pubs in the area.

*Please note that the luxury glamping both have a separate compostable toilet, outdoor kitchen and a separate shower block – these are not share facilities*

*1 Night stays always welcome - minimum 2 night stay for Bank Holidays*

*Due to the location, none of the properties at Broom Hill Retreat are suitable for guests with mobility issues*

We have ample parking available for both fuel and electric cars, we are also lucky enough to be on the main bus route from both Gloucester and Ross-on-Wye. Within a 1.5 mile walk to a grocery store, a local pub and an award winning garden centre.
