About Colne Brook Barn
A cosy, pet friendly barn conversion, with all the modern amenities required to make your holiday comfortable and enjoyable. Situated within its own grounds which total around an acre, and accessed via a secure, electronically controlled gated driveway off the A48, this pretty, secluded and private property is the ideal location for some rest and relaxation.
There are two bedrooms.
Bedroom one has a double bed, chest of drawers, wardrobe and TV, and an ensuite shower room.
Bedroom two has a queen-sized bed and a single bed, chest of drawers, wardrobe and TV.
Downstairs is open plan:
The lounge has a 40" Smart TV, with Netflix and Amazon Prime included at no extra charge, for cosy movie nights and lazy days. With an electric wall fire, a corner sofa and two bucket chairs, guests can watch the wildlife and birdlife through the French windows.
The kitchen/diner has an oven, halogen hob, microwave, toaster, cafetiere, half and half fridge freezer, large dishwasher and an extending table.
The main bathroom has a large bath with a handheld shower attachment for hair washing.
Outside there is a patio area bounded by a pathway, leading to the steps and a footbridge, allowing guests and pets to enjoy the meandering Colne Brook which runs nearby. There is a fire pit and barbecue for guests to make the most of the large garden, which has been left partly wild to encourage wildlife.
In addition, there is an outside, heated shower for washing off muddy dogs and wellies.
The property is situated just 2 miles from the Royal Forest of Dean where outdoor activities are plentiful, including walking, canoeing along the River Wye, rock climbing, riding and fishing.
As mobile signals can be sporadic in the Forest, there is a landline in the property, and we also provide FREE WiFi.
