Church Hill Farm

At Church Hill Farm we offer self catering holiday accommodation in the Wye Valley near Monmouth.​

Set in 63 acres the two properties sit on the side of a hill overlooking the Wye Valley. Both properties are extremely private and located half a mile from the nearest road along a forest track. We have a large farmhouse with spacious bedrooms, a large kitchen, big lounge and separate dining room for special meals. This is ideal for groups of up to 9 people.

​In addition we have a lovely contemporary barn which has floor to ceiling windows offering an indoor/outdoor experience. This is ideal for a couple or a couple with two teenage children who can sleep up on the cosy mezzanine.

The Farmhouse

Sleeps 9. 4 bedrooms and a study room with a single bed. There are two double rooms and two twins.  All the rooms are a good size.  We have a large family bathroom with bath and shower, a separate shower room and one double with its own ensuite bathroom with bath and shower.  There is a large farmhouse kitchen with and AGA cooker, a large living room and a dining room for 10.  Both of these rooms have Swedish woodburning stoves.

High View Barn

This a new barn conversion. It is the perfect romantic getaway for a couple (or a couple with two teenage children).  It has underfloor heating, a modern Swedish woodburning stove and floor to ceiling windows.

Getting To Us

We are located near the village of Penallt, five miles from the town of Monmouth. One hour from Bristol and Cardiff, one and a half hours from Birmingham and 3 hours from London.
