What
Remarkable potter's wheel experiences for individuals, couples, groups, schools, businesses and organisations. We work with tens of thousands of participants, all ages and abilities, exploring creativity and sharing the therapeutic benefits of working with clay.
Current offer:
Clay modelling £20 Super fun and themed 1.5hr hand modelling 'makes' for kids and grown-ups. Projects change every three or four months providing a unique and creative activity for families in the school holidays - including half term. Price includes tuition, materials and firing.
Introduction to the Potter's Wheel £40 Making a pot on the potter's wheel is one of those 'I've always wanted to do that' activities. This fun 1.5 hr session offers you the opportunity to do just that! Perfect for individuals, couples and small groups wanting to get creative with clay. (12 yrs +)
Potter's Wheel Courses. £150 Day / £280 Weekend. Escape to the country and spend the day or weekend learning how to make pottery on the potter's wheel.
Groups. before the pandemic and when we could gather in larger numbers, our weekends were filled with pottery hen parties, birthdays and special occasion workshop sessions. These days will return and when they do you'll have the best time ever celebrating your big day at Eastnor Pottery.
Where
Eastnor Pottery is located within the magnificent Herefordshire Country Estate of Eastnor Castle, surrounded by the Malvern Hills. Great walks and dramatic scenery make this the ideal place to spend a creative break.
If you are unable to visit the Pottery studio in Herefordshire, The Flying Potter is more than willing to deliver the Eastnor Pottery Experience to a venue of your choice.
Who
Eastnor Pottery is a family run business established in 1994 by professional artist potters Sarah Monk and Jon Williams. As well as making and exhibiting their unique designs, the couple have a combined 50 years experience of social engagement work.
"Above all we want participants to enjoy themselves and have fun. We aim to provide a totally memorable experience filled with happy moments. The opportunity to get creative with clay is a valuable one and if we can make a positive contribution to a person’s well being or effect a positive change in the wider community – we consider it job well done."

Introduction to The Potter's Wheel Classes take place Thursday - Saturday. Sessions commence at 9.30am, 11.30am and 2pm
