Caving Challenges

Our South Wales caving adventures take place either beneath the mountains close to Abergavenny and Brynmawr, or further afield in the Waterfall Country around Ystradfellte. With active streamways running through some of these caves, the natural beauty of the cave environment is second to none.

All the Gear

We’ll supply you with the essentials of a protective oversuit, safety helmet, headlamp, protective kneepads and caving belt along with the enthusiasm and experience of a local qualified cave leader. The South Wales caves are wetter in nature; either way it’s a good idea to bring a change of clothing for afterwards.

Ancient Caverns

Our South Wales venues include caves hidden beneath the limestone escarpments of the Usk Valley, as well as further afield in Waterfall Country, in the heart of the national park.

Caving & Climbing Combos

Bristol, Cardiff and Birmingham caving adventures

Our caving adventure sites are well situated, close to theA465  and A470 trunk roads and less than an hour from Bristol and Cardiff. If you’re travelling from Birmingham it’s around 90 minutes – 2 hours depending on the site chosen for your caving adventure.
