The farOpen Art Trail returns this July, offering a vibrant annual celebration of the incredible creative talent found within the Forest of Dean and along the rivers Severn and Wye.

From professional studios and private gardens to pop-up exhibitions in churches and cafes, the trail invites you to explore art in the heart of our community. This year’s showcase features an extraordinary range of disciplines, including painting, ceramics, jewellery, stone carving, kinetic art, willow weaving, and much more.

Visiting a working studio offers a fascinating insight into the creative process. Our artists love to share their inspirations, and many offer live demonstrations or workshops if you’re eager to try a new skill yourself.

Whether you are returning to visit old favourites or looking to make new discoveries, we hope you enjoy this unique journey through our local landscape.
