About Us
On Monday 14th December we welcome back Ex Cathedra to Hereford Cathedral for two festive Concerts led by conductor Jeffrey Skidmore.
'Our popular, atmospheric Christmas concerts feel particularly precious this year – and we can’t wait to welcome you to celebrate at these safe, socially-distanced performances. All the crucial ingredients remain in place: a seamless sequence of music and readings - old favourites, little-known gems and stunning new works – that explore the meaning, humour and wonder of Christmas.'
Ex Cathedra will perform two concerts, a matinee commencing at 3 pm and an evening performance at 7 pm. These concerts will be performed to limited capacity audiences, early booking is highly recommended to secure the group size you require.
Tickets are on general sale from Monday 30 November, 10am and can be purchased via external box offices. You must book in advance to attend this year. To minimize contact, tickets will not be available to buy on arrival at the venue.
Ex Cathedra have worked to carefully implement safety measures to keep you safe during your visit. These include seating plans that meet audience distancing requirements, staggered arrival times and enhanced cleaning and ventilation procedures. Audiences must wear face coverings at all times in our venues unless an exemption applies. You can find full details here.
Entry times will be indicated on your e-ticket.
Approximate running time is 60 minutes and there will be no interval.
