New for 2022 comes the fabulous Tan House Pique Nique Society – a range of vintage style gourmet dress up and dine experiences for groups set in the stunning grounds of this 17th-century villa in Newland, Forest of Dean, Gloucestershire.
Expect a wonderland of fun as you and your friends, or family, feast like the Parisians used to do in the 1700s, with all the glamour, frivolity and extravagance that characterised the Pique Nique beau monde, of the time.
The villa’s formal gardens, pretty meadows or woodland will provide an idyllic backdrop for your luxury Pique Nique spot. Banqueting tables will be elegantly dressed with candelabras and flowers and vintage tableware. And because of your host’s creative talents and experience as a professional stylist, you can be sure the setting will be eye-wideningly beautiful. And you even get your own dressing up basket full of fun accessories and fabulous props to make your photographs really zing.
If the weather doesn’t behave, that won’t stop play! Your Pique Nique will be moved to an equally fabulous setting, out of the elements. Just bring yourself, an appetite and your sense of fun.
The Pique Nique Society presents The Mad Hatter’s Tea Party
Afternoon cream tea but not as you know it. Expect unusual flavour combinations like popping candy meringues, cucumber ice-cream, earl grey scones and cocktail candy floss!
Delve into the costume basket for dressing up fun. Make sure to have your cameras at the ready!
Make room for our resident flamingos, tigers and zebra!! Don’t worry they are well behaved!
