About Us
Book your mountain bike hire with us in the beautiful Wye Valley, situated at Symonds Yat West in an area of outstanding natural beauty.
Symonds Yat and its surroundings offer a fantastic location for off-road cycling. There are a wide range of track including picturesque old railway paths, trails along the river and forestry tracks.
You could even bring your own picnic and enjoy chilling out up above the Wye Valley at Symonds Yat Rock or stop off at one of the many scenic riverside country pubs.
About our bikes:
The Trek Marlin 7 mountain bike is a great bike for all levels. This hardtail bike pairs an aluminium frame with a 100mm travel RockShox Judy fork, featuring a lockout so you can ride harder and faster over the smooth stuff and get the shock absorption you need when the trails turn bumpy. A Shimano Deore drivetrain, in a 1x10-speed configuration, makes for less risk of chain drop, while the hydraulic discs ensure braking is reliable and consistently powerful in all conditions. The Bontrager wheel and tyre combination is a robust pairing that will roll fast and grip well across a range of conditions.
Routes include:
Leisure Route - Enjoy a leisurely cycle along the river. For an 11-mile route cross Biblins Bridge and turn right, cycling into the Welsh town of Monmouth along the river over easy terrain and explore the cafes and restaurants on offer. Or for something a little shorter you can turn left after Biblins Bridge and visit the restaurants and pubs situated on the riverbank at Symonds Yat East. Both are beautiful options for those just looking to experience the Wye Valley for a few hours.
Scenic Route - Enjoy a stunning route, which starts along the River Wye before ascending the neighbouring hillside, deep in to the forest until reaching Symonds Yat Rock, where you can visit the cafe and viewpoint to look out over the stunning Wye Valley Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Then enjoy a gentle ride back down, with the option to call in at a pub for a well-deserved refreshment. A fan favourite and a great option for those looking for something a little more challenging whilst soaking up the countryside throughout an afternoon or full day.
