About Us
Hartpury University and Hartpury College are among the UK’s leading specialist education providers in animal, agriculture, equine, sport and veterinary nursing.
Located in Gloucestershire, our 360-hectare campus is home to over 4,600 college-level, undergraduate and postgraduate university students, studying A-levels, diplomas and degrees, as well as undertaking cutting-edge industry research. We are primarily a well-respected educational provider but we also run many public-facing events throughout the year.
In addition to our high-profile equestrian events and rugby matches, we open our campus as part of the Open Farm Sunday event, held each June, a national event coordinated by the Linking Environment and Farming (LEAF) charity. At this free-to-attend family event, you'll have the opportunity to explore our farm, view a variety of farm machinery, meet our animals, and enjoy demonstrations presented by industry experts. We’ll be putting on a number of exciting displays and demonstrations for you to enjoy including cooking demonstrations and sheep shearing - just a few of the activities our visitors have enjoyed in previous years.
