The Nest
Immerse yourself in luxury the sustainable way at The Nest Luxury Cabin.
The Nest is one of two beautiful, hand crafted cabins at The Roost Luxury Glamping - a multi-award winning, adults only site set in over 2 acres of woodland meadow within an SAC (Special Area of Conservation). Rated as one of the top 15 Great Cabin Escapes in the UK by The Sunday Telegraph.
Everything about the cabins is of the highest quality and green credentials. The kitchen has everything you will need - an induction hob, mini oven, kettle, toaster, fridge (with small freezer) and dishwasher. Pots, pans, crockery, cutlery, cooking utensils, washing up liquid, dishcloths, tea towels, cooking condiments, fresh ground coffee plus, various teas plus rice, pasta & porridge oats are also provided.
Put your feet up and make a brew - some homemade baking is left for guests on arrival.
Bed linen, fluffy towels, bath robes & toiletries are left in the cabin too.
Snuggle up by the log burner (a generous basket of logs is included) or venture onto the veranda to swing on the love seat or soak in the private Japanese hot tub designed for two (think hot tub without the chemicals & noise) - filled with fresh water for each use.
Outside the cabin is the meadow and your own private fire-pit. You will find we leave you lots of bbq equipment to enjoy outdoor cooking or you would just sit in the meadow and enjoy the stars. A stay at The Nest is the perfect way to disconnect but we have free WiFi too - so after a day of exploring the wonderful Forest, you can chill listening to the bluetooth speaker, stream a movie or post your photos!
We’re super green at The Roost and have an electric car charging point for your convenience.
There are so many great cycle routes and paths in the Forest, why not get on your bike? We have a lockable bike shed plus bike wash area too.
Stay For Longer For Less
Stay more than 2 nights and get a £40 discount off each subsequent night that you book.
Dogs are welcome. We accept 2 small dogs or 1 medium sized dog. And leave a blanket, towel, poo bags, water & food bowl plus a treat for each dog. I will also give you information on dog friendly pubs and restaurants & attractions in the area. If your fur baby has got a bit wet & muddy on all those adventures, we provide dog towels and have a dog wash area at the site barn.
There is a charge of £30 for one dog (£40 for two dogs) per stay. This is payable by card to the owner before arrival - a payment link will be sent to your email address.
