About Us
This self-catering holiday cottage was created and developed from the old bull pen at Blistors Farm. It consists of four bedrooms, two bathrooms upstairs with a kitchen/diner, lounge/diner, study/bedroom 5 and utility cloakroom downstairs. We can comfortably accommodate 8/9 people upstairs and 1/2 downstairs. Plus a cot.
The bulls have long gone but we keep their memory alive within the warm stone walls of their old home. Many original features are still evident along with all the modern conveniences required by our clients.
The kitchen/diner has a range of oak and pine units and a large breakfast bar for a leisurely start to the day. The oak worktops incorporate a Belfast Sink, farmhouse style electric stove, fridge/freezer and a dishwasher. A washing machine and undercover drying area is available.
The lounge/diner has a welcoming wood burning fire and comfy sofas with a dining area with seating for 10. it also has a TV and DVD.
The study/bedroom 5 has a comfortable futon bed creating sleeping space for 1/2 adults on the ground floor, or a comfortable TV/DVD lounge or a private space to work if you can't quite switch off.
The master bedroom with en-suite shower room has a double bed. There are two further twin rooms where the beds can be linked together to create super-king doubles and a fourth bedroom with a iron day bed (with trundle under) and a large brass single bed.
There is a bathroom with a shower over the bath in the upstairs family bathroom and a down stairs shower room off the utility room.
Outside you will find a paved patio area with seating and a private enclosed garden with bar-b-que and garden/picnic furniture. You will also find a generous hot tub and and a hard surface tennis court.
Up to 2 well behaved dogs welcome by arrangement at extra cost.
